I have painted this canvas plein air last summer, using and old basket posed by the nasturtium and zinnias spilling over the stony wall of my garden. I love the play of opposites: the exuberance of the bright colors and the quiet structure of the nasturtium leaves., the freshness of the flowers and the decaying state of the basket. This painting is framed in a minimalist black floater frame with golden edge. Other frames available upon request. It is varnished and ready to hang.
